My Saturday morning's can be quite predictable, after starting off with either a rigorous boxing session, or a FIT HIT class at my favourite studio, Sweaty Soul. My boyfriend and I will grab some coffees and hit the local markets. There's nothing better than stocking up on fresh, local produce and supporting small business.
Have a look at my favourite markets to visit;
CARRIAGEWORKS FARMERS’ MARKETS.
Carriageworks features an array of farmers from all over NSW and ACT. You can find seasonal and homemade produce, an amazing cheese selection and even a cute little store for succulents. It’s too good to miss.
Where: Carriageworks, 245 Wilson Street, Everleigh.
When: Every Saturday, 8am—1pm
CASTLE HILL FARMERS & FINE FOOD MARKETS.
Born and raised in the Hills District, I've got fond memories of strolling through these markets with Mum. These farmers’ markets boast an impressive 80 stalls (minimum) with just about everything you could possibly need. Make sure you grab some of the hand made gnocchi, amaze.
Where: Castle Hill Showground, Castle Hill.
When: Second & fourth Saturday of the Month, 8am - 12pm
KINGS CROSS ORGANIC MARKET.
Kings Cross probably isn't the first place you'd think to rush to early on a Saturday, but funnily enough, it definitely is worth the visit. They're got a massive flower market and food truck lane, be sure to check out corn stars - the corn fritters are out of this world. But it in your diaries, this one is a must.
Where: Macleay Street, Potts Point.
When: every Saturday, 9am-2pm
